I am a Provisional Registered Psychologist with over 8 years of experience working with individuals and families. I am passionate about helping women navigate through life transitions and parenting/mothering issues. I focus on women’s mental health around fertility, pregnancy, maternal depression/anxiety, postpartum depression/anxiety, mothering issues, adoption and step-parenting. I practice from an integrative approach and adjust my therapeutic method based on each individual’s unique needs and experiences, and am committed to making counselling a collaborative, comfortable, and positive experience.

My ideal client may be struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma or personality disorders. Sometimes, the stress we experience in our lives becomes too much to handle alone, and it is too much to rely on friends or family for support. People with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASD)/Autistic people experience the world differently. There is great diversity in those who are 'on the spectrum'. However, there are also challenges that are uniquely experienced by those with ASD. Our counselling service is tailored to serve Autistic people with specific modifications to address individual learning and communication styles. We serve individuals 10 years of age and older, as well as their families. To benefit from counselling, individuals must be able to talk about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I work with individuals who are feeling caught in problem behaviours, relationships, and/or feelings. I have specialized in Addiction Psychology for 9+ years and support people learning about and working with the healthy vs. unhealthy parts of their brains. Issues I work with include alcohol, drugs, food, body image, relationships, sex, video gaming, gambling, shopping, as well as anxiety, anger, low motivation, emotional dysfunction, and more.
