You're in some kind of change. A career you're rethinking, a business you're building, a relationship that's shifting, or a quieter sense that the way you've been living doesn't quite fit anymore. The old way has loosened. The new one hasn't shown up yet. We slow down enough to hear what the middle is actually telling you, and figure out what you want to do with it. You leave with more clarity, more self-trust, and a real sense of your next move.

I believe that times of hardship and difficulty can often provide opportunities for personal growth by leading one to take stock of one’s priorities, values, perceptions, relationships and environments; to replace dysfunctional coping strategies with more effective ones; to reevaluate and explore one’s goals; to discover what gives one’s life greater meaning and satisfaction, and to uncover one’s strengths and capacities. As a clinical psychologist (Ph.D) with extensive experience and training, I am dedicated to helping my clients realize their goals and explore opportunities for personal growth.

I work with people feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected; often navigating sick leave, breakups, infidelity, grief, or identity shifts. My clients may not always have clear goals, but they long to feel more at home in themselves. I offer a grounded, compassionate space where emotions and bodily sensations can be safely explored. Together, we slow down, listen inward, and support healing that is honest, embodied, and real.

We also support clients navigating loss, medical challenges, spirituality, and existential questions within a grounded and compassionate therapeutic framework.
Something feels off — maybe for a long time. If you're carrying the weight of losing someone, we offer EMDR and IADC (Induced After-Death Communication) — a focused, two-session therapy for grief and loss. Underneath, there's often grief, loss, anxiety, or trauma quietly shaping your relationships, life transitions, and sense of self. This deeper grief work is delivered alongside trauma-informed care, online across Ontario and in person in Montreal (Île-des-Sœurs). This work can be truly transformational. You don't have to keep carrying this alone.

Human’s have an innate need to be seen, held, and accepted for their reality. Through relationship we offer mirrors to each other, and these mirrors help us build a strong sense of self and grow from our life experiences. Without these mirrors individuals can start to feel invisible. Therapy can help people reflect on many elements of their lives including daily struggles, past or current traumas, systemic violences, spiritual and existential unknowns, neurodivergence, illness, and disability to name a few. In Drama therapy we use talking as well as creativity to help you feel seen and also allow you to play with your reflection.

” I believe that our faith and/or spirituality play an important role in helping us find meaning and purpose while navigating loss, pain, and the struggles we face in life.
My third culture kid (TCK) upbringing nurtured in me an interest in cross-cultural dialogue and interfaith work, and I eventually became passionate about peacebuilding. I facilitated cross-cultural dialogue among university students from different countries and worked with unaccompanied refugee youth from various African countries. This has equipped me with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Inner peace is essential for peaceful relationships with others, and I learned this after witnessing the trauma of the revolution and its aftermath.

Welcome to the socially-aware hypersensitives seeking a place to share their authentic Truth. The world is incredibly heavy right now and it may be unsafe to put down the masks you've built over time, but you crave a safe and creative space to be accepted as you are. You may feel too much in all your intersectional, confused, imperfect, and resisting-self. Maybe you don't believe in yourself anymore, but you love the magic of stories and creativity. In right relationship, it is absolutely possible to clear the static in your head, to gain clarity and perspective, and to be nourished and strengthened when all feels hopeless.

You’ve spent too long fighting your body, feeling disconnected from yourself, or carrying the weight of cultural and family expectations. Maybe you’re navigating the silence around food, shame, and self-worth—or struggling with anxiety, grief, or tension in your relationships. You might look like you’re holding it together, but inside, it’s heavy. You want to feel at peace in your body, in your faith, and in your life. Psychotherapy can be a space to explore all of that—with honesty, compassion, and with no judgment.

In my coaching practice I utilise the findings of positive psychology , mindfulness and spirituality aspects to help you maximise your personal and professional potential.
Taking the new reality of the post pandemic era in consideration, i am addressing to all the people who deal with confusion, anxiety and despair in their private and professional lives to take matters in their hands and cease suffering in silence. There is no shame on asking for the psychological, mental and emotional support they need, rather than trying to resolve matters by themselves by making irreparable moves. More now that ever people have to come to realisation that there is help out there and they have a choice to turn their lives around and make them what they wanted them to be.

Growing up in a Caribbean family taught me to serve others. Embracing Islam strengthened my passion for helping others. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients, inspired by the kindness of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. When I experienced a loss of purpose and an inability to tap into my inner strength, I had the blessing of meeting a female mentor Dr Tamara Gray, who gently guided me by encouraging me to re-write my narrative of my sensitivity as my power rather than a weakness.

I believe that every difficulty we meet on the journey of our lives is an opportunity to evolve and participate more fully in life. I see psychotherapy as mostly a process of redirecting energies, from protective & survival modes to self-actualization. I work with adults on issues of life transitions (loss, separation, adjustment disorders), depression, anxiety, eco-anxiety, addictions, high sensitivity, giftedness, creative blocks, questions of meaning & purpose in life, etc.

Spirituality Counsellors
What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?
Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?
There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviours. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?
Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?
Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
