Thinking "I'm exhausted, I'm tired of feeling this way, and I don't know how to fix it" is a heavy way to live. When you are caught in a repeating loop with your partner, or quietly battling an impulse that feels impossible to live with or break free from, those thoughts can completely take over. You might be having the exact same argument over and over, desperately chasing after a distant partner, friend, or co-worker or pulling away to avoid being swallowed up. If you are carrying a physical tension in your body that leaves you disconnected from those you love, let's step out of the loop.

If you know you’re not living at the level of depth, alignment, truth, courage, and calmness you’re capable of, in your life and relationships, and are truly tired of the patterns you’re in, and willing to change, this work may be for you. At some point, you realize that understanding yourself is not the same as actually living differently. You may have done therapy, read the books, reflected, gained insight and still find yourself repeating similar patterns, avoiding certain decisions, or holding back from the life you know you could live.

Emotions and thoughts are difficult. Whether it’s how we feel others perceive us, struggles in relationships, overwhelming anxiety, debilitating depression, or an event in the past which has taught us to fear the world, it can often feel like things are out of control. The primary work I do is helping each person understand where their emotions and thoughts come from, how to process them, and provide them tools (or help them develop their own) where they can feel at ease in their life. You can expect a warm, compassionate approach where I work alongside you, offering reflective insights, with moments of being directive.

If you grew up in an environment where your emotional needs were overlooked, criticized, or unpredictable, you may now live with a harsh inner critic, emotional overwhelm, relationship instability, or a persistent sense of not feeling safe being yourself. Complex trauma often shows up as Borderline Personality Disorder traits, social anxiety, emotional reactivity, shame, and difficulty trusting others. These patterns are not flaws, they are adaptations that once kept you safe. The problem is they are still running the show.

Many people seek therapy when life experiences leave them feeling overwhelmed, unsettled, or questioning how to make sense of what has happened to them. Trauma, relationship difficulties, illness, and major life transitions can disrupt how we understand ourselves and our place in the world. My unique life experience exposed me to different cultures and ways of living, including the Levant, Europe, and North America. I position mental health within the broader context of your life — including relationships, culture, personal history, and, when meaningful to you, spirituality or beliefs that shape how you understand your experiences

You’re a high-functioning man or young professional who looks successful on the outside but feels anxious, burned out, or disconnected on the inside. You overthink, struggle with stress, relationship uncertainty, or low self-confidence, and feel pressure to always keep it together. Maybe expressing emotions feels uncomfortable, or you’ve been told to “handle it yourself.” You want clarity, stronger relationships, emotional control, and a way to feel steady without losing your ambition or independence.

I work with clients facing anger, anxiety, depression, and men's issues.
Many people come to therapy when they notice patterns that keep repeating: difficulty managing stress, shutting down in conflict, or pushing through low mood until it becomes harder to function. These patterns often have roots that may not be immediately obvious.

I support men and couples across Quebec who feel stuck in cycles of disconnection. Many of my clients reach out when the toll of professional burnout, anxiety, or depression makes it hard to engage with life. In relationships, you might feel like you’re speaking different languages, exhausted by the same repetitive patterns. I help you move forward by pinpointing the triggers that keep you stuck. We work to break these cycles so you can feel more grounded, in control of your emotions, and better equipped to handle the demands of your daily life and your partnership.

Feeling distant from your partner, stuck in looping arguments, or disconnected sexually? My work focuses on two areas where people often carry the deepest burdens: couples counselling and men’s issues. In my couple’s work, I go beyond surface communication techniques. I help you and your partner map the emotional patterns that keep you stuck, uncover the unmet needs beneath conflict, and practice new ways of connecting that feel safe and lasting. Couples often tell me they leave sessions not only with new insights, but also with practical strategies they can use right away.

Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.

How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.

What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
