I work with people feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected; often navigating sick leave, breakups, infidelity, grief, or identity shifts.
Counselling, for me, is a space of deep presence and connection, a relationship built on safety, trust, and the freedom to feel. I support individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, grief, trauma, and questions of identity by reconnecting with their inner experience, not just thoughts, but emotions and the felt sense in the body.

All of us have, at times, struggled to live our lives in a way that feels fulfilling. We can become stuck in a cycle of negative thinking, dreary feelings, and ineffectual behaviours. In the midst of the many challenges in life, having someone share part of the journey with you and help provide clarity can be enormously helpful. I am a psychologist with over twenty years of experience counselling individuals, leading groups, and supervising therapists-in-training. I have successfully treated a variety of needs and find meaning in working with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My goal in therapy is to offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to explore whatever you're going through. I aim to help you reconnect with what matters most to you, express and process difficult emotions, improve communication, build self-awareness and confidence, and uncover a deeper sense of purpose and meaning. Together, we work to foster self-compassion, heal from past wounds, and shift patterns of thinking and behaviour that may be keeping you stuck. I bring warmth, creativity, and empathy to our work, because life can be challenging. I remain grounded in optimism, knowing meaningful change is possible.

You’re having the same conversation over and over, and getting nowhere. One of you shuts down, the other pushes harder. Small things turn into bigger conflicts, or you’ve stopped talking about what really matters altogether. You might still care deeply about each other, but it doesn’t feel the way it used to. Most couples don’t come in because they’ve “fallen out of love”, they come in because they’re stuck in patterns they don’t know how to change. Over time, those patterns create distance, resentment, and disconnection. At some point, it starts to feel like you’re no longer on the same team.

Taking the new reality of the post pandemic era in consideration, i am addressing to all the people who deal with confusion, anxiety and despair in their private and professional lives to take matters in their hands and cease suffering in silence. There is no shame on asking for the psychological, mental and emotional support they need, rather than trying to resolve matters by themselves by making irreparable moves. More now that ever people have to come to realisation that there is help out there and they have a choice to turn their lives around and make them what they wanted them to be.

How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
