My work is informed not only by clinical training, but also by lived experience. I am an immigrant and a survivor of war, and I have engaged extensively in my own trauma-focused therapeutic work. This dual perspective allows me to understand, with depth and discernment, the psychological impact of conflict, displacement, and prolonged survival states.
Many individuals I work with are highly capable and resilient—often strong, responsible, and outwardly composed—yet internally burdened by unresolved trauma, emotional fatigue, or entrenched relational patterns shaped by survival.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, relationship problems or more serious mental suffering (often labelled BPD or NPD), this approach may be of service to you in both its theory of mind and as a psychotherapeutic relationship experience.
What this means is that in our sessions, I will use both my training as well as my own experience on the couch to offer you a specialized form of listening. In this approach, symptoms are viewed as meaningful, so we will essentially try to translate and solve a mystery together, with the goal of helping you get to know and befriend more parts of your mind.

I subscribe to the idea that suffering is a natural part of the human experience; we suffer and experience discomfort so that we can adapt, build resilience, and grow. But it is possible to exceed our threshold of suffering when our coping strategies are no longer sufficient. This is when discomfort begins to feel like pain, anxiety, or depression, and is no longer helpful for growth. I like to think of my role as the collaborator and support system for times like these — helping you move through pain, reconnect with your strengths, and find space for clarity and integration.

Reasons for consulting may be various, but it always leads us to confront an unacknowledged part of ourselves, in a word, our own unconscious shadow. Smart, thoughtful, and maybe even a little intense. On a good day, your brain is a race car. On a bad day? It’s like you’re driving on ice. Whether it’s ADHD, burnout, emotional overload, or just feeling stuck, you’re here because you want clarity, momentum, and a way forward that actually fits how your mind works. You don’t need to be “fixed.” You need a therapist who gets it—a collaborator to help you decode your patterns and build tools that work with your brain, not against it. Together, we’ll explore how you function best, and start writing the documentation for your mind.

People seek help for specific reasons such as eating disorders, psycho-somatic conditions, obsessional behaviour, or phobic anxieties. At other times help is sought because of more general underlying feelings of depression or anxiety, difficulties in concentrating, dissatisfaction in work or inability to form satisfactory relationships. We believe in a mind-body connection so that improvements in psychological well-being translate into physical vitality. The benefits of our psychotherapy and counselling work include self-insight, inner fulfillment, raised self-esteem, a positive outlook and improved relationships.

There are increasing personal problems which do not meet traditional psychiatric disorders, but concern developmental 'family-of-origin' dynamics, impacting adult functioning-regarding work, intimacy and creativity. Although external factors are often real and painful: self justification, rationalization and avoidance/denial often defeat heartfelt goals, dreams, desires and ones unique potential regarding school/work, intimacy, creativity and future possibilities. I focuses upon changing these maladaptive patterns in relationships, feelings, thinking and behavior: a journey requiring time and effort before ardent goals are achieve.

What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.
How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.
Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.
How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
