Life can be quite challenging and most of us, one day or another, have felt lost and lonely. Some people can rely on friends and family members for support, but not everybody has this chance and they may not always be the best persons to understand what is at the heart of the matter. I worked in quite different settings (ex., schools, health system, correctional institutions), so I have no judgment when it comes to how fragile or mixed up we, humans, can be. A therapeutic relationship implies commitment, honesty, courage and mutual trust. Because therapy is an investment of time, money and energy, I tend to have a direct approach.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, chronic stress, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can build insight, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My practice primarily focuses on tele counselling, which many clients find offers greater comfort, privacy, and ease

Welcome! I am so glad you're here. I’m a provisional Counselling Therapist with Your Life Design Inc. My passion is being alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges, make sense of their experiences, and step into a healthier, more grounded version of themselves. I work with university students and working professionals — who are balancing academic demands, personal growth, and relationships. I also work closely with people who want to explore and heal from trauma, whether it’s a recent event or something that’s been carried silently for years. I have recently begun seeing clients with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Reaching out is a difficult first step, but you’re in the right place. I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, depression, grief, challenging relationships, burnout, vicarious trauma, interpersonal conflict, and significant life transitions such as separation and divorce. I also support co-parents working to reduce conflict and build more stable, workable parenting relationships after separation. I bring particular focus to professionals amd caregivers who are carrying high emotional loads, including those in helping roles who may be experiencing burnout or empathetic distress (compassion fatigue).

It is my passion to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life's struggles. I work with both individuals and couples. Anxiety, depression, PTSD and chronic pain are often a part of my conversation with clients. I have come to understand that trauma is much more prevalent than I once understood. Most of us have experienced painful events, that have the potential to shape our understanding of who we are and of the world around us. I love to engage with others in the journey of discovering clarity and truth in order to process trauma. As this happens, our thoughts and belief systems change.
