The Family Enhancement Centre is a full service counselling centre. We work with children, youth, adults, couples and families dealing with a variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, marital issues, school issues, grief / loss, panic attacks, post traumatic stress disorder, suicidality, self harm, relationship issues, anger management, separation / divorce, blended families, victims of crime, etc.. With multiple registered therapists we personally match your needs with our therapist's skill set, approach and style and we guarantee a good therapeutic match or we will transfer you to another one of our therapists until it is.

I have worked as a clinician for over 25 years. I have considerable experience with family, couples and individual therapy. Working with addictions, mental health, trauma, and youth related issues are strong areas of interest. As a clinical traumatologist and an Advanced Clinical Supervisor, I have specific interest and extensive training in trauma. A significant component of my private practice is couples and family therapy. Couples therapy is an opportunity to help couples that are simply stuck move towards resolution and rediscover a meaningful relationship. There are times where resolution may not be the goal for both parties. Mediation services are also available.

If you decide to make an appointment, the first session has no strings attached. We will go through what the concerns are, some goals, and expectations (if any), and you can decide whether you are ready for us to continue with further sessions. Ade is a Clinical Counsellor, Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Relationship coach at the Mental Health Unit of Precision Medical Centre located in Barrhaven, Nepean. She holds a Master Degree in Counselling Psychology and Certified Clinician in REBT, CBT and Emotion Focus Therapy. She also a Faculty member of Centre for Rational and Cognitive Therapies, teaches, mentors and supervises graduating Masters degree students for College registration and completion of degree. She has years of experience working with all age group in mental health and relationship issues.
