Accepting New Clients: Talking to an empathic listener while experiencing distress can be a meaningful step towards well-being. With over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I help youth, adults, and families achieve their personal goals, optimize their unique strengths, and cultivate resiliency while they navigate life's challenges. I typically work alongside clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and low self-esteem. I'm also employed with a school board and focus my skills in supporting student mental health and attendance.
I will work with you to develop an intervention plan to create desired change. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based while grounded in empathy and validation. I have training in evidenced-based therapeutic models (CBT, ACT, etc.,) and I help my clients find what approach is best for their journey to well-being.
It can be hard to know where to start. Wherever you're at on your path to wellness, I'm happy to help you. Evening appointments are available.
