Hello, I’m Loretta (she/her), a queer Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist. My practice is non-pathologising, trauma-focused, and collaborative. As your therapist I’ll deeply listen and welcome all the parts of you that show up in therapy with warmth and care. Over the years I’ve supported clients with self and identity explorations, attachment/relationship injuries, childhood trauma, AuDHD/ADHD, anxiety, low mood, grief and loss. I find I work well with clients struggling with overthinking, challenges around embodiment, as well those feeling stuck in relational patterns.
I enjoy bringing mindfulness-based and body-centered practices to therapy. I draw from Attachment theory, IFS (parts work), Somatics, Hakomi, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, Narrative therapy, Feminist theory and ground this work politically from an anti-oppressive and neuro-affirming lens.
