Hello my name is Tiffany and I am a proud member of the Lotus Counselling Services team! I bring over a decade of experience working with people living with mental health and addictions. Currently I am also a part of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and work in the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy programs. My focus is to deliver therapy validated through research to help people who are struggling. I have spent 30 years working with children, youth and their caregivers providing Mental Health treatment for a wide range of challenges facing families today. Mindful conversation and reflection, compassion for self and the practice of both cognitive and somatic strategies are incorporated into each session. I believe that therapy is a co-created experience. It is important to me that people find new resources and enhance the ones that are already available to them. My approach is influenced by somatic psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, developmental, relational and psychodynamic schools of psychology.
