I'm a Registered Provisional Psychologist who was over 8 years of experience working specifically with children, adolescents and their families in a variety of different settings such as schools, community agencies and private practice. My specific interest includes providing support for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, low self-esteem and trauma. I primarily utilize a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, however, I also incorporate different therapeutic modalities in my practice given each individual’s unique needs. This may include ACT, DBT, SFT and CFT.
My goal in the process of therapy is to empower you to discover your strengths through guidance in a safe and compassionate environment where you can feel open and comfortable sharing your experiences in order to heal, find joy and create meaning and purpose in your life.
I also offer psychoeducational assessments to children/adolescents to evaluate academic, behavioural and cognitive skills. I believe that all individuals have the ability to succeed and to reach their true potential.Assessments can be an empowering tool that allows us to understand one's true strengths and areas of growth, in order to facilitate development
