I am a registered social worker with over 20 years clinical experience working with children, teens and adults. I draw from evidence based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and have training in Gottman's Couple's Therapy. I also have training in cultural safety and work from a trauma-informed perspective.
My approach is client-centred and collaborative and is designed to meet the specific needs of each client. I help clients identify their own strengths and inner resources. I believe in giving clients the tools and support they need to work through the challenges they are dealing with.
I welcome individuals from all cultures, backgrounds and experiences. I offer a safe, confidential environment for people experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, addictions, relationship issues and stress. I am currently accepting clients (age 12 and up) both in person and virtually.
