| Español Welcome and Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Paula Fernandez and I’m originally from Spain. I provide therapy in English and Spanish. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC and hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical and Health Psychology from the UIB (Spain). I have broad experience working with children, youth, and adults providing individual, family, and couples therapy. I believe that creating a warm and trusting space where you can feel seen, heard, and validated is an essential component to help you explore your inner world and embrace your strengths and resilience.
I see Counselling as a collaborative process where the counsellor and the client work together to develop perspective and understanding. I tailor therapy according to each client’s needs, goals, and preferences, based on an integrative approach using multiple evidence-based modalities.
My work focuses on building a safe relationship while providing a nurturing, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment.
