We’re all prone to personal challenges, loss, relationship struggles and times when it's hard to cope. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. I use a person-centred collaborative process with my clients and tailor therapy to each individual. I believe empathy begins with understanding life from another person's perspective, and is done without any judgement whatsoever. I provide an empathetic, trusting and confidential environment and offer support, coping tools, and encouragement to open up, identify strengths, change troubling emotions, thoughts, and behaviours.
Developing a trusting relationship with a therapist is key to better understanding ourselves, harnessing our strengths and developing a sense of empowerment in managing our difficulties. I’m experienced helping clients dealing with: anxiety, stress, depression, grief, anger, burnout, relationship problems, divorce, sleep / insomnia issues, among others.
Altering our perceptions alters our reality and rids us of the troubles holding us back. When we change our thoughts, we can experience an unbridled freedom! I work with clients from varied backgrounds.
