I aim to support individuals & families to improve lives that have been negatively impacted by drugs, alcohol, gambling and process addictions. With 20 years of experience, we are well equipped with the knowledge and expertise to provide care and support for a full range of addiction concerns. I aim to help intercept and turn life back to the preferred direction of each individual and their families. I aim to help in the manner the impacted family members wish with a client centered approach. We are not able to force someone into change; however, our care and compassion allows individuals to explore change.
My primary mode of help is through motivational interviewing. I effectively listen, summarize and reflect back to the client the desire for change they are seeking. Often knowing they are heard, a client will begin to adjust and modify their own life.
The pain of addiction is grand, isolating and frightening. You are not alone in this difficult journey and I am here ready to walk with you during this difficult journey. Removing the sensation of isolation is paramount to change directions and move towards a healthier self.
