I am a Certified EMDR Therapist, Registered Clinical Counsellor, and Alberta Counselling Therapist with over 25-years in the human services and mental health field offering specialized treatments, such as EMDR, Brainspotting, TF-CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems for those experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. My style is down-to-earth and I help people get to the root of problems while allowing them to build quality of life. I am passionate about working with those that have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences and offer a personable approach.
My experience and training in the wellness sector has made me versatile and unique. Certified in EMDR, and level 4 trained in Brainspotting, I offer a specialized and individualiatic approach that implements different degrees of brain and body processing with dimensions of wellness different from those offered in other typical counselling services.
I am big on validation and working with people starting where they are at. Realizing it can be difficult meeting someone new to discuss challenges, my goal is to make people feel at ease and comfortable while helping them live their best life.
