I am a Registered Psychotherapist /Couple therapist who believes that a couple therapist is both a collaborator in the work that couples do to restructure their life dance; and a choreographer who leads the couple's interaction throughout the therapy process. As a therapist, I help clients to expand their inner experience and create not only a new representation of self, but also new patterns of interactions in order to connect to their partner or other important people in their lives. As an EFT Therapist, I am also a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally-Focused Therapy.
My passion is to help others and to make a real difference in people's lives. I have furthered both my passion and expertise through providing different therapies such as EMDR, EFT, CFT to individuals, couples, and families; attending to issues such as PTSD, trauma-related issues, relationship issues, depression and anxiety, stress, and self-esteem.
My work experience and My Masters degree have provided me valuable experience in using a variety of techniques, while recognizing the importance of applying appropriate interventions aligned to cultural differences. In addition to English, I am fluent in Farsi and offer experience working within a variety of multicultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
