As a registered professional who began my career as a psychiatric nurse, I value research based approaches and personalized client care in my practice. I work from an eclectic and collaborative approach with each client to ensure that client's feel heard, seen and included throughout their therapeutic journey. I work with kids, teens and adults that have struggled with mental health issues, including psychiatric diagnosis, as well as individuals who have experienced trauma, discrimination, gender identity related issues, and domestic violence recovery.
It's important to me to provide care that is founded in research including being trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I highly prioritize continuing education and strive to continue expanding my skills and offering new modalities.
