I am a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of clinical experience working in acute mental health, both in hospital and community settings. I love helping to support tweens, teenagers, young adults, and their caregivers who are struggling to navigate their child’s mental health. My goal is to create a strong therapeutic relationship from a place of non-judgement and empathy. I use an eclectic approach drawing on various skills, training, and experiences, to tailor a treatment plan specific to the desired goals and needs of the individual and caregiver. My hope at the end of the session is that people feel lighter, and heard.
I’m passionate about offering a safe space for young people and their caregivers who are looking for support with emotion regulation, anxiety, low mood, self esteem, peer relationships and social skills. I am an ally to 2SLGBTQ+ folks and happy to support your needs.
We all need support in life sometimes, and I am prepared to walk alongside you wherever you are at today.
