About
I like to practice in collaboration with my clients. I strongly believe that building our relationship allows you to feel safe and comfortable, and for me to hold you accountable. I believe that you are the expert! Therapy is an investment in you! If you are motivated to improve, I'm confident that we can identify and work toward developing the tools, coping skills, and understanding that will help you be your best. I find helping people discover their self-worth, set boundaries, and navigate life transitions, particularly from post-secondary education into the work force, very rewarding.
I am very calm, patient, and empathetic, and will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to express yourself. I like using humour and keeping things light, even during our darkest times. I believe that I offer a unique point of view having been a student and young person today, and am passionate about making positive change.
I am passionate about suicide prevention and working with survivors of trauma, and those living with depression and anxiety, as well as making mental health services more accessible. I have been through my own mental health journey, and I want to help others through theirs, without barriers.
