About
Change - presumably the goal of many seeking psychotherapy, but what is that change and how does it happen? My personal philosophy of psychotherapy begins and ends with a willingness to enter into an individual's experience alongside them. I work with individuals in a collaborative and holistic process to explore and understand what is meaningful in their lives, to set goals, and to support them in their journey towards living a more meaningful and fulfilling life - all within a safe, open, and nurturing environment.
In my practice, I have worked with individuals presenting with various concerns such as mental health issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, bipolar), trauma, grief and loss, stress, relationship challenges, substance use and addictions. I have also worked with individuals exploring identity, personal growth, wellness, goals, and their purpose in life.
Feeling emotions, even uncomfortable ones, is common and understandable. I believe that no matter what one's life experiences are, everyone has a need for validation and support. If you would like to discuss the services that I offer, please feel free to contact me by email and I will respond to you within 48 business hours.
