Many of the people I work with have been managing for a long time before they reach out—holding things together, pushing through, waiting to feel better. When they finally get here, I take that seriously.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist with 15 years of experience working with children, youth, adults, and families. My approach draws on CBT, DBT, emotion-focused and somatic methods—but more than any technique, I pay attention to how each person experiences things, not just what they say about them. Some people need to understand what's happening. Others need to actually feel something shift. Most need both.
I work with the whole person — not just the presenting problem. Depending on what's needed, sessions might involve slowing down to notice what's happening in the body, using creative or play-based tools, or building practical strategies for everyday life. The goal is change that actually holds.
People come to me when something feels stuck—and when what they've already tried hasn't quite worked. That's usually where the real work begins.
