Our culturally diverse, seasoned team provides expert care for everyday to complex mental health across the lifespan for everyone. At OCFR creating a sense of safety and being seen is at the centre of everything we do. Without safety, we cannot settle and be curious about ourselves and others, a requirement for self-learning and resilience.
Our team is experienced in the areas of attachment, trauma, dissociation, parenting, adoption, divorce, justice involved youth, concerning sexual behaviour issues, FASD, and involvement with the child welfare, family court, and/or criminal justice systems.
Our clinicians have advanced training in a variety of evidence-based approaches for children, youth, adults, and families, including psycho-biologically and somatic based approaches, such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, SMART, Brainspotting, Theraplay, & Emotionally Focused Family Therapy.
In addition to therapy and occupational therapy, our team provides psycho-educational, neuropsychological, occupational therapy, family court (Voice of child, CLRA s.30), civil, and forensic assessments.
