"If you have felt frustrated and stuck, There are 3 major reasons that keep you feeling stuck in your life and keep you struggling to make changes. Reason #1: Your subconscious mind is running a program that you can't override through conscious effort alone. When you can't achieve or maintain positive changes, this reinforces your negative subconscious program. It doesn't matter how intelligent, motivated or supported you are, 95% that your subconscious mind holds can easily sabotage the 5% conscious positive intention, especially in times of stress. Its's just your program running trying to fulfill itself."

"I aim to help you create and discover a life worth living for and have fulfilling relationships with yourself and with others. Living from a place of fear/anger/resentment right now might be impacting how you see the world every single day. It may also affect your relationships with your family members, partners, and/or children (young and adults), friends, even coworkers, and you need help to make sense of it all. Every day, you may experience conflict, lack of connection, fear of something, or other challenges that gets in the way of you finding that sense of belonging and ownership over your life. "

"It is my firm belief that everyone deserves someone to talk to, and to pour out what has been long kept in their heart, body, mind, spirit, and soul. It is with that belief, that I offer my skills, and trained ear as a counselor, in order to help you navigate through this situation that you are finding yourself going through. You are never alone. Although it may feel like this at this very moment, you are stronger than you think that you are. Real strength, in my opinion, is being able to be vulnerable, being able to disclose a hidden problem or area of great pain, and to deal with this 'head on', and with someone who can help you."

"I work with children and youth between 2 and 16 years old and their families to improve their quality of life and to empower them to grow in authentic and meaningful ways. Children sometimes cannot bring themselves to talk about particular issues, and my therapy can help them discover ways to express, form meaningful connections, and find their inner resources and strength. I support parents to explore their unique strengths and gently walk them through the hard stuff together. Whether you need an empathetic holding place or concrete skill based solutions for your family needs, it would be my honour and pleasure to help you."

"A unique life experience allowed me to gain a multi-cultural approach and knowledge of European, Asian, and Middle-Eastern cultures and customs. I realized that merging theoretical approaches to address every client's unique needs is best practice and the most effective way to assist them. As such, I tailor each client's therapy session based on their needs, by mixing with precision neurofeedback to several theoretical approaches, including Psychodynamic therapy, CBT and DBT, as well as Motivational Interviewing."

"I am a recovering "Nice Guy". You might have heard this term before. It describes a man who goes out of his way to please everyone around him, to not "rock the boat", to fix all the problems and do the "right" thing. Sounds great right? Except that through this behaviour a man loses his power, loses his authenticity, and looses his passion and fulfilment in life."

Oppositional Defiance Counsellors
All children are oppositional from time to time. But their behavior can become incessantly and openly uncooperative such that it stands out relative to other children. Oppositional Defiant Disorder (or sometimes referred to as "ODD") tends to be evidenced by frequent temper tantrums, excessive arguing with adults, the questioning of rules, active defiance and refusal to comply with adult requests. You may also see deliberate attempts to annoy or upset people, blaming of others, being touchy or easily annoyed by others, frequent anger and resentment, mean and hateful talking when upset, a spiteful attitude and revenge seeking.

These counsellors can help with oppositional defiance in V5C or provide counselling for parents handling an oppositional defiant kid in V5C, oppositional defiant teen or oppositional defiant children in V5C.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in V5C are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counsellor in V5C you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counselling or couples counselling in V5C and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counselling in V5C or family therapy in V5C.
