You might be navigating acculturation stress, a sense of disconnection, or the lingering effects of past experiences, and perhaps you’re ready for a space where you don’t have to hold everything alone. In our time together, I support you in deepening self-understanding, shifting patterns and feeling more connected to self and others. Growing up in Japan and later immigrating to Canada as a teenager taught me the complexities of belonging, identity and change. Whether you feel stuck or isolated in your experience, we can begin to untangle what feels heavy in a space that allows you to slow down, process and imagine new possibilities.

I work with adults who find themselves at thresholds in their lives, facing loss, grief, relationship challenges, and the shifts in identity and desire that can arise through life transitions and changes. In our sessions together, we can co-create a compassionate space grounded in deep listening and presence. I bring twenty years of experience working with youth and families in holistic and alternative education informed by anti-oppressive practice. My personal experiences of disenfranchised loss and complex change have deepened my capacity to be with others with tenderness, curiosity, and humility.
