Therapists in Ontario
I support children, teens, and adults across Ontario who are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, grief, and challenges with emotional regulation. If you’re living with the impact of difficult experiences, ongoing stress, or emotions that feel hard to manage, therapy can offer a calm, supportive space to slow down, reflect, and better understand what you’re going through. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and informed by evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, strengths-based therapy, and mindfulness. We move at a pace that feels respectful and manageable, supporting meaningful, lasting change over time.

Becoming a parent can bring joy and fulfillment, but the changes and stress that accompany the early years can also have substantial impacts on a parent’s mental health. Nothing can truly prepare us for this significant new role. New parents are often overwhelmed with how how all consuming caring for a baby can be, may experience challenging shifts in their important relationships, and my not yet know how to cope or access the support they need. Parents in later stages are not immune to struggles either - managing toddler behaviour, learning to manage our big feelings alongside our little ones - often without any roadmap.

Moving to Canada in my early twenties was a defining experience. Like many immigrants, I arrived with hope and determination, but also with uncertainty and the challenges of starting over in a new culture. This journey deeply shaped who I am and how I practice psychotherapy.
Because I’ve lived these experiences myself, I understand the unique pressures of immigration—the search for belonging, the responsibility toward family, and the emotional weight of navigating two worlds. It’s an honour for me to support other immigrants as they adjust, heal, and reconnect with their sense of identity and safety.

I believe that anyone can benefit from counselling. We all have our struggles and sometimes talking with someone in a safe, supportive and confidential environment can help to see things differently, develop new skills to put toward problems, and create new meaning about your own personal story. The most important factor in the therapeutic relationship, as in any relationship, is feeling safe and understood. I offer a warm, non-judgmental and open space in which to deepen your self-awareness and reach your goals.

Psychotherapy is an opportunity to shed old, unhelpful ways of being for more authentic forms of connecting. Recognizing your own patterns, let alone changing them, can be difficult without support. Working with an empathetic therapist who listens attentively and without judgement can lead to lasting transformational change. Many people initially come to psychotherapy to find relief from personal suffering. While psychotherapy is an effective treatment for unwanted thoughts, feelings and behaviours, it is also a process that leads to increased connection with ourselves and others.

Sometimes we can feel like we are not at the right place in our lives or in our minds, and that our experiences define us. A spiraling effect that can often lead you to sit in a rut and while serves you for the moment-is not ideal. In these times, it can be difficult to imagine talking about it will provide any relief.

I utilize a person-centred approach that provides clients with a safe space to achieve self awareness and understanding. Clients drive the discussion and objective of each session and set goals that are achievable and relevant to their lives. I help clients identify and enhance their individualized strengths and skills that they can then apply to potential future stressors. One of my top priorities is creating a space where clients feel like they can be their authentic selves without judgement. Through the establishment of a meaningful and trusting relationship I can help enable my clients to work through their presenting concerns.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—from themselves, their partners, or the life they thought they “should” be living. If that’s where you are, you’re not alone. I help individuals and couples make sense of their emotions, understand the patterns that keep repeating, and create more clarity, confidence, and connection in their lives.
I’m drawn to this work because so many people carry their struggles quietly. Therapy becomes a place where nothing has to be hidden—where your experiences, fears, and hopes are met with curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we explore what’s beneath the surface,
