Psychotherapy is like plumbing. Sometimes there is a block or a leak in the system, and the results can be messy. Together we can find out where the clogged or cracked places are in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and work together in a non-shaming way to bring fresh air, patch leaks, and unclog the drains so things can flow more freely again. You may decide it's time to renovate the pipes and I am here to support you to discover what is most important to you and what you want to do about it. Bad weather or a fallen tree may have caused serious damage and it can be hard to know where to start repairs.

The call to change rarely arrives the way we expect.
For much of my life, I knew how to be who others needed me to be.
I was the good daughter, dependable sister, wife and mother, the capable professional. I built a successful career in Human Resources, helping leaders navigate performance, conflict, organizational change and the complexities of being human at work. From the outside, my life looked meaningful, accomplished, and full.
Yet beneath that life was a quieter truth. I had become incredibly skilled at meeting expectations while slowly losing connection with myself.
Then came the wake-up call I hadn’t expected: illness.

As an existential therapist, I aim to help clients face themselves rather than fix themselves.
This involves a process of honest self-confrontation that is immersive, introspective, and often demanding. Existential therapy calls for personal courage, emotional openness, and a willingness to engage with difficult truths. Clients are invited to question long-held assumptions, challenge limiting narratives, and examine inner contradictions. This work asks them to look closely at how they are showing up in their lives, confront avoidance and denial, and take full responsibility for the shape and direction of their existence.

I work with adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, shame, or difficult life changes. Many of the people I work with are deeply self-aware, but still find it hard to move forward. Some are carrying the effects of past experiences, living with ongoing stress, or simply wanting more clarity, confidence, and peace in their lives.

I understand how difficult it can be to seek help, and that often, the biggest hurdle to living a more fulfilling life is just taking that first step. That's why I aim to create an environment where you can feel safe, heard, and understood.
Having worked with individuals of differing backgrounds and presenting concerns, I focus on helping my clients find a sense of autonomy, direction, and self-understanding so that they can learn to live in a way that aligns with their ideal selves.

We live in a traumatized world with many factors impacting our mental health and well-being negatively. Everything from war, conflicts, racial violence, displacement, loss, grief, family and relationship issues, life transitions, all test our strength and ability to cope with the demands of everyday life. We all need support, human connection, kindness and compassion to get through these difficult times. It can be difficult to reach out for help and embark on an unknown path to a healing journey. It takes courage and commitment to engage in therapy but it can also be extremely rewarding when you get the appropriate support.

Helping people find themselves again through life's biggest transitions.
Many of my clients arrive feeling like they've been performing a version of themselves for so long, they've lost track of who they actually are. They're navigating life's biggest transitions, becoming a parent, recovering from pregnancy or infant loss, adjusting after immigration, processing a divorce, shifting careers, or stepping into a caregiving role. I work with individuals and couples across Ontario who are ready to stop just coping and start reconnecting with themselves. If any of this sounds familiar, you are in the right place.

Finding the right therapist can be an emotionally draining and taxing process. If you're looking for a different therapy experience that is highly collaborative and engaging, this is the right fit for you! I like to provide space, empathy, humour, and ask reflective questions that will get your brain working a little harder. Clients often say to me: "Wow, that is a good question! Let me think about this for a moment." I also practice from a person-in-environment approach. I analyze and take into consideration of systemic factors that may be impacting your overall well-being.

You’re holding a lot. You don’t have to hold it alone anymore.
If you’re here, chances are you’re tired of surviving and ready to start living differently.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship strain, emotional overwhelm, and the quiet inner voice that says, “I’m not enough.” Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally exhausted - caregivers, professionals, parents, peacemakers - people who carry responsibility well but struggle to extend that same compassion to themselves.
