I invite you to work together to uncover your inner strength through powerful tools (mindfulness, stress reduction, guided imagery). Worries and insecurities transform into renewed energy and increased clarity. We tap into your creativity during therapy in simple ways to discover the harmony and beauty inside of yourself. At any age, we can grow and we can heal, no matter what issues we face. I see great positive changes in how my clients see themselves and relate to others, a change in outlook and an increased sense of meaningfulness and direction.
Accepting NEW clients! - If you are reading this you have already taken the scariest step; recognizing that you want some extra help or support. Are you experiencing issues in life and you don't know how to approach them, where to even start, or who to reach out to? Do you have past experiences which are not letting you move on with your life? Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, or self-esteem? Or a mood or personality disorder? Sometimes life gives us more than we can handle alone, and we don't know how to cope.
You may feel overwhelmed with shame, guilt, sadness, negative self-talk, or an experience that has a hold over you. This feeling can be experienced as a weight or a burden that prevents you from living the life that you want, holding you back from what makes you happy and excited about life. If you’d like to connect to those parts of you that are wise and compassionate, you can begin to step into a way of living that embraces the vibrancy and uniqueness of who you are and what you want. This is what psychotherapy is all about—helping you move towards greater self-knowledge and a life that is meaningful and nourishing for you.

If you're here, you've done a big step by considering whether therapy might be for you. I am Lenka, a good listener, a hiker, a reader, and tea-drinker, and a psychotherapist. If you have never done therapy before, it might seem a little scary to open up to people. This is completely normal! I have worked with many people over the last few years. For some people, it was their first time in therapy. For others, they were returning for more therapy with a new therapist. Either way, your journey has brought you here, and I would love to be part of it.
Life has the tendency to throw us curveballs and sometimes we have the capacity to dodge them on our own, but other times we may be carrying too much and our ability to navigate it all begins to feel unmanageable. I firmly believe that therapy is for everyone. Whether what brought you here was situational or long-term, seeking the help of a professional is the first step in healing. I provide clients with a safe and inclusive space to be vulnerable about the challenges they are facing. With your commitment to and trust in the process, we will work collaboratively to set goals and create positive and sustainable changes in your life.

The decision to access counselling is a personal one. Whether you've been to a counsellor before, or you are just starting to explore the options, thank you. Not just for reading this - but for taking the time to look into what is available and what may be right for you. People generally come to therapy for a reason, such as a specific event that they would like to discuss, or to work through uncomfortable emotions. Together, we can prioritize goals, explore and work through issues, develop new coping strategies, and create a plan to determine next steps.
