Originally from Hong Kong, I am a registered counsellor, EMDR Certified Therapist and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) candidate. I provide therapy in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. My personal experiences have led me to explore the complex impacts of trauma, including its connection to anxiety, depression and somatic symptoms. I’ve dedicated myself to studying how the brain, body and nervous system respond to trauma, and how it can lead to changes that affect physical health, behaviour, social patterns and our ability to cope with stress.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or emotional dysregulation? Do you feel disconnected from your body due to past trauma or chronic stress? Perhaps you’re experiencing physical symptoms such as tension, fatigue, or digestive issues. Maybe talk therapy has helped, but you still sense something deeper remains unresolved. If you struggle with setting boundaries or expressing emotions, you're not alone. In our work together, we will create a safe and supportive space to gently reconnect with your mind body and spirit connection. We will explore and uncover the roots and not feel stuck.

With a foundation rooted in Relational Gestalt psychotherapy and the support of Brainspotting, my role as an enlightened witness supports you as you feel your feelings, strive to make sense of how you approach the world around you, and proceed on your healing journey. I work from an embodied approach to support you as you explore your difficulties, past and/or present, that you may struggle to verbalize. My compassionate side, with a little humour thrown in for good measure, makes difficult feelings a little easier to navigate. We can use conversation, movement, art, music, or role play during our sessions—whatever interests you.

I want to offer my admiration to you for looking for another option in managing all that is going on in your life right now. I suspect that this was not an easy decision, but it is a decision that speaks about your commitment to yourself and possibly those who are important to you. I would like to offer you a confidential and supportive environment, where you can speak about your struggles without fear of the judgements by family, friends or others who you interact with daily. Together, we can explore new ways of coping, or refresh some skills that have been put aside in the past.

Life sometimes asks more of you than you have to give. You’re juggling work, relationships, family, expectations, doing everything you can to keep it together, yet inside, you feel drained. Maybe you’ve outgrown old patterns or roles that no longer fit, and you’re craving a space where you can finally just be yourself. Life can feel especially heavy when cultural, social, or family expectations leave little room for rest, softness, or vulnerability. You don’t have to keep pushing through in silence. Therapy with me is a space where you’re allowed to show up exactly as you are.

Parenthood can be a profoundly beautiful and rewarding time. It can also be humbling, difficult, and painful. Adjusting to parenthood can bring unexpected and deeply challenging feelings such as regret, resentment, rage, anxiety, and grief. Our most closely held relationships may change, and so might our sense of identity and self-esteem. For those of us with hormonal sensitivities or ADHD, this time can be especially challenging as we navigate feelings of inadequacy when we struggle with day to day tasks, and contend with new levels of overwhelm and overstimulation due to the intense sensory experiences of parenting young children.

You’re looking for someone who gets it. Someone who can sit with the mess and help you find a way through that honours who you are. I work with people navigating identity shifts, overwhelm, late and undiagnosed neurodivergence, parenting, trauma, intimate and family relationships, and life transitions, especially the kind that leave you questioning everything you thought you “should” be. My approach is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in non-judgement, curiosity and lived experience. If you’re ready to feel seen and supported as you untangle what’s in front of you, or buried deep, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
