I fluently speak English and French.

Are you trying to take control of your emotions, unhealthy habits, or negative thoughts? Are you trying to improve your interpersonal skills, romantic or professional relationships, or seeking personal growth? Are you simply in need to talking about your life, decisions, and future plan? If yes, then you may want to try setting an appointment to tackle these issues. I provide therapy for children, adults, parent-child relationship, family, and couple therapy. A friendly reminder for my reader is that you don't have to have a "serious condition" to see therapy. If you feel stuck in any aspect of your life, therapy can be helpful.
NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS - The first part of the getting-to-know-you process I will complete an initial assessment to help determine the depth of your depression, anxiety, unhealthy coping strategies and other areas that may be causing you to feel stuck. We repeat what’s familiar. Even though we know what is dysfunctional and not working well for us, we repeat behaviours because they are familiar. We can break old patterns and rewire our brain, forming new neural connections so that new thoughts and behaviours become the norm.
I am NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS at this time. I view the courageous people who contact me the utmost respect. My intention is to meet you where you are, considering the whole of your physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual self. Working collaboratively, we will strive to create change and promote well-being. I have connected with many people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship, sexuality, life transition, and spiritual/existential concerns. I enjoy working experientially in the 'here and now' of our encounter while keeping your strengths, skills, and goals in focus.
Do you struggle with anxiety on a daily basis which prevents you from fully functioning? Are you challenged by issues of loss or grief such as Relationship breakdown, Job loss, Health changes or Bereavement? Or, are you having difficulty with making a transition in life like adapting to the empty nest, or being a new parent? If you answered yes to any of these, I can help you take on these challenges and we can work together to help you grow through grief, manage your anxiety, nurture your resilience and inspire you to take new directions in your life.
As a registered psychotherapist with 18 years experience, my purpose is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. Whether you are struggling in your relationship, experiencing anxiety, grief, disordered eating, or depression, I will provide a caring and effective approach to support you in creating positive change. By applying effective therapy approaches and techniques that include mindfulness therapy, EFT and anti-oppression therapy approaches to therapy, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling & meaningful life.
