Announcement icon I have completed training on how to do online therapy. My sessions are delivered through Doxy.me which is both PIPEDA and PHIPA compliant.

About

Often we seek therapy because something in our life is not working for us. We are tired of feeling chronically overwhelmed, we may be unsure of how to manage our relationships, or want to stop negative patterns that no longer serve us. I appreciate that it takes courage to explore our inner world of thoughts and feelings. I am a skilled and compassionate therapist who has supported hundreds of clients on their healing journey as they learn new ways to cope with stress and better navigate their emotional reactions and relationships. Extra support is often the ingredient clients need to overcome significant hurdles in life.
I have 22 years of counselling experience and am honored to do this work. My technique is grounded in traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; which is a body-centered approach that aims to treat the somatic symptoms of unresolved trauma. In addition, I have training in CBT, EFT, sound therapy as well as restorative yoga.
Figuring it out on your own can be hard, so let's talk. My approach emphasizes working together to develop tangible goals for therapy while providing ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic process to ensure you are satisfied with the progress. I can help with problems from the past and learn new ways of living more fully in the present and into the future.

A sound bath meditation is deeply relaxing and has wonderful health benefits, like boosting your immune system, reducing cortisol (the main stress hormone) in your blood, and even can help promote the repair of damaged tissue; certain harmonic frequencies have been proven to stimulate the production of nitric oxide in the body, which also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal benefits.
