Online Counselling for Gatineau

We provide confidential and empathic psychotherapy mental health services to adults, adolescents, children and families. All services are provided by a licensed mental health professional or under the supervision of a licensed professional. Services are available for adults, children, adolescents and families in English or French. We work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative and other trauma-related difficulties, childhood maltreatment, grief, relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Parenting is a rollercoaster, but adding a neurodevelopmental or medical condition to the mix makes it that much more challenging. I aim to treat emotional and behavioural issues, but also to help parents feel more confident about their parenting and feel more emotionally connected to their children despite the challenges.

I work with clients collaboratively to find ways to cope, overcome, and heal. I am a bilingual clinical social worker and counselor offering phone-based counseling services for guidance & support for those difficult times of life. 20 years experience as a clinical social worker. Wide set of experiences ranging from helping individuals with life's transition; grief and adjustment; depression and anxiety; gender-based related issues; addictions; return to work planning. Also extensive experience in assisting the elderly population in regards to issues that relate to their journey and the ones of their families. I will mediate with their families as requested.

I provide consultation and individual psychotherapy to adults and seniors experiencing a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, life transitions, vital crises, and workplace issues. I am currently working only in French and Spanish.

Welcome to my psychotherapy practice! I offer attachment theory-based psychotherapy. Are you tired of your childhood wounds running your life? Of knowing where your anxiety, low self-esteem, and difficulty trusting yourself and others come from, but not knowing what to do about them? Of feeling like you’ve tried everything to heal yourself and to have success in your relationships, but not seeing the results you've hoped for? In my work, I put my knowledge of attachment theory as well as my skills in SFBT, CBT, MI, and mindfulness to use in helping my clients progress in their healing of lifelong childhood wounds.
