Hello and thank you for leaning into your mental wellness. I am a compassionate and experienced mental health therapist with a specialization in trauma, depression and anxiety. I offer a safe and non judgmental space to explore a multitude of concerns from a single episode to long term challenges. I believe that each person has strengths and is ultimately the expert of their own life. My role is to work as a team with you to shine a light on your strengths and enhance coping skills. To hold space for feelings, discomfort, and to address old systems, survival skills and stuck points, so that you may positively grow and change.

My work in the addiction field covers both chemical and processing addictions. If you struggle with these addictions, I have the skills and the tools you need to get you started.

Primarily, I am an Acceptance and Commitment therapist (ACT), an evidence-based theory helpful with all mood disorders, pain, substance use goal, and support for families. Also, I work as a life coach and support anyone who experiences stress, grief, relationship problems and self-esteem struggles. I believe that spirituality is an important part of anyone's life, as well as laughter. Finally, I have a wealth of lived experience and have overcome many life challenges. I am well versed in providing counselling services to children, adolescents and adults of all ages. I enjoy working with people who are struggling in the various stages and different aspects of their lives. For adolescents and adults, this could involve understanding and better managing anxiety, depression, grief or unexpected changes. It could also be in a supportive role as clients navigate learning about their new psychiatric diagnosis and how to best manage it. Or it may be working with children teaching them about their emotions, worry and adapting to big changes in their lives. The help I can provide is broad and varies.
