I will help you eliminate phobias, life -long behaviours, inappropriate thoughts and anxieties as well as migraines, chronic pain and other physical manifestations of underlying stress.
I operate from a strength based approach, using a powerful combination of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) hypnosis and Time Line Therapy®. I work in person and online. We will achieve success by uncovering the unconscious patterns and programming that is keeping you stuck! We work where behaviour, emotions and reactions are actually coming from. Huge shifts happen fast, even when they have been suffering for years. There is a way to heal that is easier and simpler - without talking about all the content, and reliving the pain. Free Consults available online and I will work on a sliding scale in these tough times.

Have you reached a point in your life where you just can't seem to find that happy spark anymore? Do you feel unmotivated and not sure what to do about it? It's not unusual to feel like you are just existing day to day - whether at school, at work, with your partner, or even parenting your children. We all get stuck in a spot of feeling undervalued and overwhelmed and this is more common now than ever before.

Whether you feel like your life is spinning out of control or you are struggling with change you didn't ask for, IMAGINE a CREATIVE VISION to feel more calm, content & confident.
IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITY - that there is a way to think differently; to feel differently; to live differently. Within each of us, we possess the tools we need to heal & be happy. But sometimes we make unhealthy choices in order to cope with emotional &/or physical pain. Despite our best intentions we can spiral downward, negatively impacting our relationships, careers, physical health & lifestyle. I believe that with support, change can happen. I am registered with a Master of Social Work & over 30yrs of clinical experience in the areas of trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, parenting, life transitions & mindfulness.

In life we there are many paths to take; some are laid out for us, others we opt out of, and some come at a crossroads. Knowing what to do can become challenging and giving ourselves the space to explore where we are going or how we got there, can be a difficult process to undertake. Whether you find yourself lost, tired, and or uncertain, know that you do not have to come to these places alone. As someone on their own journey I understand the value of making sense and meaning of the stories we tell about ourselves, as these are the stories that will speak to how we view ourselves, others, and or communicate with the people we love.

I make life skills more accessible by using customized modalities to better understand yourself, your relationships and life .
Welcome to a safe space where we can, together, figure 'it' out, learn what you need, then brainstorm/heartstorm if you are ready for change, acceptance or both (yes, it’s possible!). Here, you can give yourself time and ways to heal. Have you heard about: “do not work harder than the client!” ? They teach you that, behind the scenes, in pretty much any school or workplace related to therapy. Well…at times, I do work harder than my clients. Differently maybe; and hard. To understand and hold space for clients and myself; to really “get it”; and start the most amazing and meaningful work. We're all on a quest to finding meaning.

We often go through life experiencing challenges that are unique to our own personal relationships, schooling/careers, self-discovery/development, or spiritual/religious journeys. It is with this understanding that mental health issues and life 's emotional struggles can be personalized to each and every individual, understood and emphasized from your particular point of view. Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem and/or vocational challenges can all interconnect and weave together to form a complex, yet complicated picture of your particular struggles.

Life Coaching Counsellors

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
