I work primarily with individuals aged 12 and up dealing with issues such as Depression, Anxiety,
, lack of meaning and motivation, adjustment difficulties, addictive behaviours, grief and loss, chronic conditions, and trauma.
To help you, I use Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, as well as providin a space to guide self discovery, self expression, and self compassion. Mindfulness helps us to not get overwhelmed by our distressing thoughts and physical sensations and CBT provides techniques that help changing of thoughts, reactions, and habits. It is my belief that therapy helps heal, strengthen, and or change a person’s relationship with their self, history, and environment. This change can entail adopting coping skills, increasing awareness of how we treat our selves, and management of our environment.
