At best, you'd probably like to not experience these things at all, since it's normal for us to want to avoid what's painful, and feeling trapped only makes it worse. "I can't", "I should" and "I have to" are familiar phrases that lead us into situations that can make us feel activated or unsafe. With awareness of our needs we can become more choiceful and responsive.
