I work with evidence based practices (CBT, EFT, DBT, etc.) and different therapeutic techniques to find the best fit for each individual.
Hi! It is a pleasure to meet you. First things first, you are doing an amazing thing for yourself by looking into therapy. The world of therapy can be daunting and scary - so you being here is a big step! My name is Emma, I am a licensed and registered Social Worker in Ontario. I have many years of experience working with various cohorts of people – including adults, couples, families, individuals struggling with eating disorders, and survivors of family violence. My previous experiences have taught me so much about myself and how to conduct therapy sessions with vastly unique groups of people. I love working with others.

My approach is informed by attachment theory and an understanding of trauma, supported by multiple trainings in both areas; I am trained in EFT, The Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Neurobehavioural Therapy and Narrative Practice.
Hi, I'm Stephanie and I focus on relationship and sex therapy, as well as providing support for more general mental health concerns. I also specialize in working with people living with seizures (PNES/functional seizures and epileptic seizures.) Kindness, compassion and understanding are at the core of my work. I’ve learned that when we can slow down to understand our place of stuckness, then we can gain the insight we need to move towards hope and growth. I feel passionate about helping people to better connect to themselves, and others, and I’m known for bringing kindness, levity and care to this work that I love.

I draw from emotion-focused ( EFT), cognitive behavioural (CBT), internal family systems (IFS) and mindfulness-based therapies in my sessions.
As a therapist, my areas of focus include ADHD, trauma, autism, anxiety and LGBTQ+ issues. I help adults and teens manage worry and sadness, and to improve organization, focus and emotion regulation skills. My approach strikes a balance between providing practical tools and guiding you in processing emotions deeply. In this way, we practice what it is like to "feel our feelings" without becoming stuck in them in ways that are no longer helpful. I have experience helping neurodivergent people reflect on ways that masking their differences has impacted them, and helping them find ways to cope in a world that is at times overwhelming.

Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, or relationship issues? You’ve probably tried to solve these challenges on your own—whether it’s through self-help methods, advice from friends, or simply trying to push through. But if those efforts haven’t worked, it might be time to approach things differently.

I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy ( EFT), Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused Therapy, BIPOC and more.
You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from carrying the weight of your emotions, I see you. Maybe your thoughts feel like they’re running the show, filling you with doubt, anxiety, or the belief that no matter what you do, it’s never enough. It’s exhausting, isn’t it? Here’s the truth, healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself, you were never broken. In our work together, we’ll create a space where you don’t have to pretend to have it all together. We’ll uncover the “why” behind your struggles, challenge the thoughts that hold you back, and build the confidence to step into the life you want

I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from EFT, EMDR, parts work, attachment work, polyvagal theory, and somatic modalities.
It is painful to feel disconnected from the beauty and joy of life because of trauma, anxiety, or overwhelming emotions. That weight can feel isolating, but healing is possible. I help individuals and couples who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and emotional dysregulation. Whether you feel stuck in survival mode, weighed down by self-doubt, or caught in painful relationship patterns, therapy can help you find relief and lasting change. Together, we’ll work to soothe inner turmoil, build emotional resilience, and create a sense of deep, lasting safety—within yourself and in your relationships.

I primarily use Emotion-Focused Therapy ( EFT) to help clients explore and understand their emotions, fostering personal growth, healing, and improved relationships.
My practice focuses on helping people who are facing challenges during difficult life changes, such as dealing with anxiety and depression. I take pride in assisting individuals through important stages of life, such as transitioning to post-secondary education, entering adulthood, and becoming parents. I also have a lot of experience supporting those with eating disorders. My research for my dissertation focuses on understanding the needs of caregivers raising a child with an eating disorder. Finally, as an amateur performer myself, I have a particular passion for working with amateur and professional performers.

My work is trauma-informed and I draw from Emotion-Focussed Therapy ( EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
I offer individual, couple, and family psychotherapy. My therapeutic stance is one of respect and active engagement. I like to explore resiliency, knowledge, aspirations and resources so you and I can have conversations that highlight what is going well while gently redirecting thinking and behavioural patterns that may be interfering with your capacity to feel connected to yourself and others. Whether this is solo or partnered endeavour, you will be able to gain clarity of your personal needs, develop self-compassion and acceptance, and uncover new bonding possibilities, and ways to maintain emotional connections.

I use a variety of modalities backed by research such as ACT, attachment and trauma-informed work, CBT, DBT, EFT, Narrative, and somatic (body-based) interventions.
Many folks come to me feeling overwhelmed, confused, or disconnected from their emotions or behaviours. They find themselves feeling triggered in relationships, or shy away from sharing their authentic selves with others. Some have significant struggles with their focus and can't consistently complete tasks they know are well within their abilities. When we don't know how or why this happens, a sense of powerlessness and shame creeps into our lives. Trust me, I understand confronting these issues is challenging and vulnerable. Changing these patterns is very possible and may be some of the most important work you do in your life.
