Life is hard enough without being hard on yourself. Many of my clients place unreachable standards and expectations upon themselves. They also may present with habitual negative thinking, relationship concerns, and past trauma. It’s a privilege to work closely with people and help them to cope with these many challenges. In therapy, we begin with a thorough exploration of your background and concerns, then collaborate to set concrete therapeutic goals to improve mental health and well-being, manage symptoms, and create a greater sense of meaning in life.

You may come to therapy because you feel worried, lost, trapped, isolated, heartbroken, furious, confused, hollow, fearful, betrayed, frustrated, or hopeless. Your mind may frighten, incapacitate, sadden, or bewilder you. You may be a survivor of abuse: sexual, emotional, physical, psychological. I want our work together to feel sufficiently safe (whatever that means to you) but also challenging; supportive and steadying, but also energizing. What each person needs and wants from therapy is necessarily unique, and ever-changing.

Does it feel like your past is constantly interrupting your present? Whether it’s the heavy weight of depression, the persistent "buzz" of anxiety, or the lingering echoes of trauma, these experiences can make life feel like a series of obstacles to survive rather than a life to be lived. In my practice, I help individuals move beyond "just coping." I specialize in the intersection of trauma, anxiety, and depression—where traditional talk therapy often reaches its limit.

I am a gentle and bold therapist. I will listen carefully to your experiences. I will explore with you connections between your present thoughts, feelings, actions and past events. The aim is to help you understand more about yourself.
The blue print for our actions, behaviors, feelings and self-concept was put in place at a very young age. We may look for patterns that worked well in their early context, but do not work anymore. A change may be needed. The insight you gain in a committed, active therapeutic relationship can be a powerful tool.

You may have spent so much of your life taking care of everyone else that you've forgotten what it feels like to care for yourself. Maybe you're always overthinking, people-pleasing, masking, or carrying the weight of past relationships and trauma. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overlooked for far too long.

Many of us have life experiences that shake up our worlds and dramatically transform how we see ourselves. They may be relationship breakdowns, major traumas, the loss of a family pet, becoming a parent, or receiving a life-changing diagnosis. These challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed and oftentimes isolated - know that you are not alone. My role is to help you to feel heard, make sense of difficult experiences, as well as teach you strategies to cope with distressing thoughts and emotions that accompany trauma and anxiety. Together we can work towards reconnecting you with your authentic self and the life you wish to lead.

We often come to therapy wanting to feel better, perhaps to change old patterns that don’t align with the vision we have for our lives. Anxiety, depression, anger, PTSD, or personality disruption, difficulty in relationships and addiction are symptoms arising from deeper core (shame-based) wounds. These problematic symptoms surface as a way to cover up painful, enmeshed emotions that are unseen and unheard. I therefore aim to go to the source not the symptom: I specialize in emotion, in building self-compassion, and addressing toxic shame.

Any of us may become scared or frustrated by events in our lives. Sometimes parts of our lives just don't seem to be working out. We may become unhappy and come to an impasse. It is inevitable that we come face to face with a crisis of illness or loss. Some may have experienced a relationship breakdown or disturbing dreams and memories. Any one of these can make life seem overwhelming. Even when we find the courage to admit what's happening, those closest to us are not equipped to help us. At these times it is often helpful to talk with a therapist

Currently accepting new clients for youth and adults. Do you struggle with feeling meh? Not feeling true joy and feeling like life is passing by while you are simply getting through it? Maybe you are functioning on the outside, going to work or school, keeping up with responsibilities, showing up for others, but internally something feels off. This can show up as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or a loss of sense of self that affects your ability to feel present and connected. You’re insightful, self-aware, and often the one others turn to—but internally, things may feel more complex. You might notice overthinking, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, or relational patterns that don’t fully make sense. In individual therapy, I support adults in exploring these inner experiences through a relational, attachment-focused, emotion-focused, and parts-informed lens.
I also offer couples therapy and am EFT Level 1 trained, supporting partners in understanding stuck cycles, communicating with more care and clarity, and taking steps toward emotional safety, repair, and deeper connection.

If you are looking to create a deeper understanding of yourself, I would like to invite you into exploring psychotherapy. I work with youth and adults who are interested in becoming more of ‘their authentic self’, want to deepen their social-emotional-spiritual connection, and release any hurts, burdens, pains they have had to carry throughout their childhood and adolescence. If you are looking for ways to support your own well-being, manage stress and better understand your emotions/reactions, using Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, can create that space for you to experience more harmony, clarity and direction.

Do you find yourself asking, "How do I get past this?" The number one struggle people often express when they talk about their emotional pain is feeling stuck. If you are experiencing an inability to move forward in your career, relationship or you are struggling to find the joy in life you once felt, you may be experiencing the effects of unresolved trauma or unmet attachment needs. This can manifest in physical symptoms such as chronic pain, headaches, and fatigue. We take the time to understand you as a person who has a lived experience that has brought you here.
