While suffering is an inherent part of the human experience, conditions of systemic oppression distribute it unevenly. To survive the difficult realities of life, we develop habitual patterns to manage psychological pain, often at the expense of our values and creativity. Psychotherapy can help raise our awareness, transform protective mechanisms, and release difficult emotions.

Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in self-doubt, or weighed down by emotional pain you can't shake? Maybe your relationships feel strained, or you're constantly navigating the tension between being present and just getting through the day. I understand how exhausting it can be when your nervous system is on high alert — leaving you in a state of survival rather than ease. In our work together, I integrate body-based practices and experiential methods like AEDP, IFS, and EMDR to help you process difficult emotions and create space for new patterns of connection, confidence, and clarity.

If you're familiar with the somatic experiences of anxiety and or depression, symptoms of trauma, overwhelm, stress + relationship challenges, then you've landed in the right spot. If you're hoping to reduce the distress in your life that surrounds particularly experiences and relationships, feel more energized and accepting of self, you've also landed in the right spot. Connecting with a therapist where you there's a mutual fit in the therapeutic relationship continues to be the best indicator of outcomes in therapy. As a relational practitioner, I hold this to high regards while knowing that you deserve good therapy.

You might be wrestling with questions that don’t have easy answers: Who am I, really? What matters most? Is this all there is? Or maybe you’re a parent trying to stay connected through stress, grief, or complexity, and want support that honours both you and your child. My work is grounded in experiential, relational, and integrative therapies and helping people tune back into themselves; that quiet knowing we often override in the chaos of life. Whether you’re navigating a major shift or just feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, make meaning, and build your capacity to face what’s true.

Working with a psychotherapist is a confidential place of your own, a point of contact with another human being, who is trained, informed and supportive. Coming to an understanding of yourself takes time, allowing what previously was unconscious or not seen to become conscious. Coming to understand through insightful awareness of what's holding you back from your life and potential

I work with adults and couples to help them move towards a state of continued growth, compassion, and self-awareness in a way that is collaborative, strengths-based, and empowering. I believe in creating a client-therapist relationship that fosters authenticity, support, and space for both acceptance, and for change. This can begin in our very first session. Together, we can begin to tease apart the adaptive approaches to dealing with and moving through life you've grown accustomed to, and begin to decipher which of these patterns are serving you, and which you may be interested in moving beyond.

Life can feel challenging at times, leaving you feeling overwhelmed or stuck. You may be experiencing feelings of sadness, worry, anger, shame, fear, grief or despair. Struggling with difficult emotions can take away from living in the present moment. Instead you may find yourself dealing with anxiety, self-criticism, over-thinking, reliving painful memories and stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Together we will slow things down so we can explore your experiences and the parts of you that may be hard to understand.
