You’re a high-performing professional, parent or aspiring parent carrying pressure from every direction: work demands, constant decisions, tight timelines, and the expectation to stay composed at all times. Toronto moves fast, and so do the responsibilities you hold. Even though you appear steady, underneath you feel worn down, mentally overloaded, and tired of pushing through alone. Stress, burnout, and performance pressure are hitting harder, and the balance you once had feels harder to sustain. I work exclusively online, giving you flexible access to support, clarity, and steadiness without disrupting your schedule.

Life can feel too intense, sometimes. We all deserve support. Psychotherapy can be a powerful way to work through those moments in life when we can’t see a way forward- when we feel stuck, alone, disconnected, overwhelmed, and small. I specialize in helping with feelings of low self-worth, isolation, and shame, and support folks in regaining a sense of safety and presence in their bodies, choices, and relationships. Whatever you may be struggling with, you don’t have to do it alone. In the context of a strong therapeutic relationship, we can make sense of your experience and help you work through it, together.

I support individuals navigating ADHD, life transitions, and grief, as well as related experiences of anxiety and depression.
You’ve been strong for so long—but lately, it’s starting to feel heavier in a way you can’t ignore. Maybe you’re used to pushing through, holding it together, and showing up for everyone else, even when you’re struggling inside. But now, something feels different. It’s harder to keep going the same way. You might not know exactly what needs to change—just that something does. Therapy gives you a space to slow down, feel supported, and start making sense of what’s beneath the surface—at your own pace. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen coping, and help you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounding and safe.

You’ve built a life by getting things “right” - showing up, working hard, keeping it together. But under the surface, it might feel like it’s never enough. Maybe you’re exhausted from people-pleasing, wrestling with identity, or trying to meet expectations that don’t fit you. If you’re ready for a change - therapy can be a space not just for surviving, but for enriching your life. I use an integrative lens and take from evidence-based interventions that I am trained in to establish an approach based on my clients needs, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Rogerian, Psychodynamic, EMDR and Trauma-Informed therapy.

Some of my areas of special interest include ADHD, Autism, OCD, and neurodivergence generally; mental health and burnout in academia; the challenges of balancing caregiving and career demands; and the existential dread and dissonance that come with living in world shaped by climate change, violence, oppression, and inequality.
I work with individuals and couples facing life transitions, identity challenges, low mood, anxiety, and difficulty breaking out of repetitive patterns of behaviour. My approach is rooted in empathy and in a deep respect for different ways of understanding and processing experience.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?
Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
