I speak French fluently & intimately understand the challenges to balance Western way of living with Eastern values and culture.
Are you successful outwardly, but deep down feel a nagging lack of personal fulfilment? Are you swamped with life, and wondering how to achieve more balance, meaning and purpose? Do you want to improve your emotional health and wellbeing, silence your Inner Critic and boost your self-confidence? Are you curious about this "mindfulness" thing that everyone is talking about these days? If so, let's work together! I primarily work with Millennials, Gen Y and Gen Xers who are feeling overwhelmed and dissatisfied with their lives, struggle with low self-esteem and self-worth, or facing difficulty with "adulting."

I am equally fluent in French - si vous êtes intéressés, je suis la personne pour vous.
What makes you happy? Are you able to achieve the goals you have set for yourself and have your needs met? Do you enjoy fulfilling relationships? Or do you feel 'different' from others, lost in how to express your needs and be seen? If this is you, then I can help. Together, we shall seek to create opportunities for growth and forward movement from those patterns of 'stuckness' that hold you back from experiencing a stronger sense of self and confidence, as you move through life .

Registered as a Psychological Associate (Supervised Practice) with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, I provide psychological services to adults in both French and English.
Life can be challenging and is often stressful. Multiple stress factors affects the quality of life and create psychological disorders. You may experience those challenges in a number of different ways: difficulties adjusting, confusion about direction and motivation in life, struggles at work, in relationships etc. As a result, you may feel anxious, depressed, angry or overwhelmed at times and need a better viewpoint to deal with those feelings and problems.

I am comfortable working in both French and English.
Many of us face times in our lives when we need support to get through difficult periods. I see psychotherapy as a safe space to explore yourself, gain self-insight and understanding, and develop tools and resources to face the ups and downs of life. Since 2011, I have had the chance to work with adults with various needs and challenges. I have supported clients to work through relationship difficulties, repetitive patterns that were no longer serving them, anxiety, depression, painful emotions related to present or past events (including traumas), self-esteem issues, grief and loss, and adjustment to chronic illness.

Stressed?? Anxious?? Depressed?? Are you struggling to find the right therapist? Feeling lost? All first sessions are FREE with no obligations. WHY? I am passionate about creating opportunities for healing centered around your unique needs! My personal philosophy is radical acceptance. I believe that most coping strategies (from perfectionism to addictions) actually enable survival to one's best ability. Reflect on how your personal coping methods enabled you to survive until this moment! I believe in honouring old patterns with awareness. We must recognize and accept what is holding us back in order to change it.

How can I find a therapist in Central Toronto, Toronto?

Search for nearby therapists or counselors by inputting your city, town, or suburb; or postcode; or a provider’s name into the search bar. From there, you can filter providers by the issues they treat, cost, insurance, gender, and other factors to find providers who are well-suited to your needs. To navigate between locations within the same country, enter a new city or postcode into the search bar.

Learn more about how to find a therapist.

Is online therapy a good option?

Therapy conducted online or over the phone can be just as effective as in-person therapy, as long as there is a strong alliance between the client and the therapist. To find a therapist who provides telehealth services to clients in your area, click “Online Therapy” on the directory homepage and search by your city or town or your postcode.

What’s the difference between a psychologist, a therapist, and a counselor?

Therapists, psychologists, and counselors are all licensed mental health professionals. In Canada, psychologists have earned a doctoral degree. The terms “therapist” and “counselor” are used somewhat interchangeably, but generally therapists offer longer-term, mental health care, while counselors offer shorter-term care that may focus on one domain, such as marriage, career, or academic challenges.

What type of therapist is right for me?

Clients should consider factors such as insurance coverage and their primary reason(s) for seeking therapy to determine the type of professional best suited to their needs. Someone struggling with mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, for example, may wish to seek out a clinical psychologist or therapist, while someone navigating career obstacles or marital upheaval may benefit from seeing a counselor who can offer short-term, targeted support.

Is everyone in the Psychology Today Therapy Directory a licensed therapist?

The Psychology Today directory lists providers who offer legitimate mental health services to the public, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors. Many have been licensed by the country or province where they practice; providers whose license or primary credential has been verified by Psychology Today verified by Psychology Today are signified by a “Verified” symbol. Some clinicians or organizations provide services for which their state or country does not offer licenses, such as pastoral counseling. They may be selectively included without the “Verified” seal.

What type of therapy is right for me?

The type of therapy best suited to a particular individual depends on several factors, including their primary reason for seeking therapy, their preferred timeline (some therapy types last for a set number of sessions, while others are open-ended), and their personality and preferences—some may prefer a more structured approach. For many individuals, multiple types of therapy could provide a good fit.

Is online therapy cheaper than in-person therapy?

Many therapists charge the same amount for online therapy as they do for in-person therapy—though clients may still find this cost-effective if it cuts down on their transportation costs. Health insurance plans often offer equivalent coverage for online and in-person therapy; indeed, in many places, they are legally required to do so. Text-based or on-demand therapy apps may be cheaper than traditional one-on-one psychotherapy; however, the practice may be less effective and is not likely to be covered by insurance.

How much does therapy cost?

Some forms of mental health treatment (for example, seeing a psychiatrist, or seeing a psychologist in a government-funded hospital) are free under provincial health plans. Canadians who seek private counseling can typically expect to pay an average of $150 per session, although the actual price generally ranges between $100 and $3200 per session, depending on their location and the type of provider they select. Workplace benefits or private insurance plans often provide an annual counselling allowance, and some therapists offer sliding scale fees to clients who cannot pay full price.
