Life feels overwhelming—and it has for a while. Maybe you’ve been the dependable one for everyone else, but now you’re starting to wonder what you want. Anxiety, guilt, exhaustion, and self-doubt feel all too familiar. You might be navigating midlife changes, relationship shifts, health concerns, parenting stress, or career burnout—and realizing you can’t keep doing this alone. You want to feel more like yourself again—and finally make choices that reflect what matters to you.

In addition to my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, I hold qualifications in EMDR, ADHD and Neurodiversity, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Couples and Sex Therapy, and am in the final stages of completing a second Master of Science in Psychedelic Medicine.
Clients with trauma and neurodivergence often struggle with overwhelming emotions, difficulty regulating their responses, and heightened sensitivity to stress. They may experience intrusive memories, flashbacks, or anxiety, making it hard to focus or maintain relationships. Life feels chaotic, with routines and social interactions often overwhelming or exhausting. They might feel misunderstood, isolated, or inadequate. Day to day life is disrupted by racing thoughts or emotional discomfort, leaving them exhausted, anxious, and unsure how to break the cycle.

There is so much emotional processing to be done around the complexities of everyday relationship struggles and a late/misunderstood ADHD diagnosis - I'm here to do it together.
I take a relational approach in all the work that I do and really focus on creating meaningful, values-based goals that resonate. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, ensuring that you are provided education on the effects of trauma, how it might be related to your everyday behaviour patterns, and most importantly, creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment where you share your story only if and when it feels "right". I'm far from a “blank-slate” therapist – I'm compassionate, expressive and enjoy using humour when appropriate, as I believe great healing can take place in a setting where we can be ourselves.

Are you thriving? Or just surviving... All those racing thoughts that just won't stop are shitty. What's worked for you before isn't the vibe anymore. “Child and Parent Specialist” Modern day parenting has become next to impossible, between busy schedules and environmental stressors, you feel lost and helpless. You find yourself yelling more than you want to, triggered and overwhelmed, you are not the parent you desire to be. Your child is sensitive, easily irritable, unable to regulate, maybe even aggressive. You are not alone. Children do not have the ability to self-regulate until they have experienced co-regulation - but no one taught us how to regulate. That's where I come in - to help regulate your own inner child so that you can show up better for your family.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?

Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
