I have a special interest in women's issues and prenatal and postpartum mental health.
If you’re feeling exhausted by narcissistic abuse, overwhelmed by trauma memories, disconnected in your relationship, or lost in the fog of postpartum anxiety or depression, you don’t have to navigate it alone. It is easy for us to be caught in a cycle of intrusive thoughts, periods of distress, and feeling not like yourself. Sometimes you may need someone to talk to outside of your circle, as others in your life may not get it. My sessions blends nervous‑system regulation, talk therapy, and practical skills. You’ll leave each appointment with at least one clear, doable strategy you can use right away.

I offer guidance on self-esteem, coping skills, women's issues, body image, and school-related concerns for both neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals.
You have spent years trying to figure out why everything feels harder for you: relationships, routines, emotions, work, and rest. You have been called sensitive, intense, scattered, lazy, too much, and not enough, often all at once. You have become an expert at hiding your overwhelm, constantly performing a version of “okay” while quietly burning out inside. Maybe you have recently discovered that you are neurodivergent, whether ADHD, autistic, or both, and now everything finally makes sense… and also nothing makes sense at all.
You might be grieving the years you went unseen.

I'm so glad you're taking steps to look for the connection and space you need. It can be hard to find a therapist that clicks. Therapy can be a space to cultivate radical acceptance, get clear on your relationship patterns, strengthen your resources, and sow the seeds for the courage to make shifts. Our work together is collaborative, working at the pace of your nervous system and at the speed of trust with yourself and each other.

You’re not looking for a perfect therapist. You’re looking for someone who gets it. Someone who can sit with the mess and help you find a way through that honours who you are. I work with people navigating identity, overwhelm, neurodivergence, parenting, trauma, relationships, and life transitions, especially the kind that leave you questioning everything you thought you “should” be. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in curiosity and lived experience. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about creating space for what’s real, building insight, and moving toward something that feels more like you.

How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.
How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realised.
How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
