Accepting New Clients - Many of my clients are neurodivergent adults — often late-diagnosed AuDHD or ADHD — who've spent years masking, over-functioning, and pushing through in a world built for different brains. They arrive exhausted, anxious, and questioning who they are beneath the coping. Perfectionism, people-pleasing, RSD, burnout, and relationship strain show up often. Together, we slow down and explore what's underneath. I draw on Internal Family Systems, DBT, mindfulness, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, alongside years working with autistic and ADHD adults, to help you build self-trust and a life that fits how you're wired.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. You may be someone who thinks a lot, feels deeply, and carries more than you show. On the outside, you manage, but on the inside, it can feel overwhelming, scattered, or disconnected. Perhaps your mind doesn’t switch off, you struggle to follow through, or you’re not sure what actually feels like you anymore.
I offer a warm, respectful space where you can slow down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we explore patterns in how you think, feel, and relate, and begin to shift what no longer serves you.

Did you grow up reading footsteps - tracking moods by how loud the dishes were, translating other people's emotions before you'd ever learned your own? You apologize before the sentence is even finished, you're sure it's your fault anyway. You practice your tone in the rearview mirror before you call your mom back. You scroll Reddit threads about CPTSD at 2am, trying to figure out if the memory you have is even real. You can name every attachment style and know your ACE score. You've done the worksheets, the podcasts, the breath work. But the wiring is still the wiring. And you're tired of feeling like the only adult in every room.

I work with adults and teenagers working through anxiety, depression, trauma (including complex and developmental trauma), grief, and burn out.
The people who tend find me are those that have been carrying a lot—maybe for a long time—and is starting to wonder if things could feel different. They might seem like they have it together on the outside, but inside they feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who they really are. They may have symptoms such as anxiety, depression, flashbacks, difficulty sleeping, substance use, or relationship difficulties. Many of the people I work with have some feeling of trauma in their past and may even have a diagnosis of PTSD or CPTSD but these diagnosis are not required to have support.

I work with teens and adults who are navigating life's various challenges.
I use a collaborative approach to therapy where I view my role as helping you identify your strengths, shed light on unhelpful thoughts, and help you develop insight. I may also use EMDR or Somatic Experiencing interventions to draw attention to the nervous system's wisdom. These are two bottom-up approaches that differ from traditional talk therapy.

What does therapy for teenagers look like?
When a therapist works with a teenager, the pair will talk about what the teen is struggling with and explore solutions, which may involve interpersonal skills, coping strategies, medication, or lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise. Different therapists employ different modalities, but most involve a combination of conversation and skill building.
How long does therapy for teenagers generally take to work?
There’s variability in teenagers’ experiences and challenges; some may begin to improve from therapy within a few weeks while others may take several months or longer. Teens can discuss their progress with their therapist periodically to assess how they’re improving and any changes to the treatment plan that could potentially accelerate that progress.
How do you encourage a teenager to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love while framing therapy as an opportunity to explore a tool that could help improve their life; just like they practice baseball or dance, now they can practice their emotional skills. Give your teen control over the process where you can—maybe by weighing in on choice of therapist and signaling that therapy involves confidentiality, so a parent need not know all that is discussed in sessions.
How do you prepare teens for therapy?
You can prepare your teenager for therapy by describing what the process will look like and setting expectations for timeline, if requested. You can explain that the first session may begin with an assessment phase, that they can describe their experiences but that the therapist will ask questions too, and that it may take time to feel comfortable opening up. Ask how they’re feeling about the process and answer any questions calmly and supportively.
