I am qualified to work on a variety of issues: abuse and trauma, stress/anxiety management, grief , relationship issues, sub-personality work, life transitions, family dynamics, inner-critic, inner-child work.
When you read the following out loud do they resonate with you? Do you often sabotage your own best intentions for yourself. Have you, or someone you love(d), experienced a life altering medical event and need to make sense of it all. Do you have trouble saying "no" to everyone but yourself? Are you thinking about transitioning your life in another direction? Do unrealistic expectations of yourself and others cause you constant pain? Are you ready to accept that you can control how you feel, and how you respond to others.

Meeting your searching eyes, my heart feels the pain. I ask myself, what I could offer? As human, we inevitably deal with pain, loss , sadness, anger, anxiety, depression --- I might not be able to feel the deep pain you are experiencing, but I am here, ready to go through it with you and know it will be overcome. I also know when the waves of pain subside, we always find treasures left behind. Life doesn’t mean to survive, but to thrive. Challenges help us to expand our heart, our view, our belief in ourselves, and make us grow. It is often not easy. But you are here, ready to meet it courageously, aren't you?

I specialize in relationship challenges, family dynamics, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss , life transitions, life purpose, recovery from betrayal, injury recovery, chronic illness, speaking difficult truths, spiritual support (multi-faith), energy work, and pandemic grief and loss .
If you’re struggling with a challenge that feels confusing, heavy, or scary, or if you’re at a crossroads in life and wondering what’s next, I can help. I can tune in to the core issue, support you through the confusion, and help you develop a clear and manageable plan to move forward. The Emotion Code (TEC) can also help you feel lighter by releasing trapped emotions. TEC is the simplest, quickest, and most efficient healing method in energy psychology today. Trapped emotions can even be passed down (inherited), or trapped in utero (prenatal). The Emotion Code clears our emotional baggage without having to relive past experiences.

This can be triggered when you struggle with issues of; general fears, personal relationships, divorce, career, health, grief , parenting, school, family, unresolved trauma, self-esteem, sexual orientation, substance abuse or any other difficult life situation.
I help you cope with anxiety and depression. I do this in stages. The first stage is to offer tools to regulate your emotions before they become unmanageable and lead to panic attacks or isolation. In the second stage I help you discover things about yourself that you are not fully aware of. With this self discovery, you will understand WHY you do what you do in life, HOW you became the person that you are today and HOW to transform certain aspects of yourself that no longer serve you to become the amazing person you were born to be.

Grief Counsellors

How long does therapy take for grief?

There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.

When should you seek therapy for grief?

Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.

Can grief be managed without therapy?

Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.

What happens if grief is left untreated?

Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
