My formal training in counselling theories and techniques, as well as psychology, sociology, human development, physiology and communication will help me to assist you and your loved ones to achieve your interpersonal goals. We will tailor your therapy to fit the specific area of growth and healing that is best suited for you. This may include Cognitive Behavioural, Narrative, Emotion Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Family Systems Theory.
I can provide strategies and tools to improve your emotional regulation including anger, anxiety, depression and stress which may block individual, couple and family growth and development. In addition, we can use EMDR to help you heal from the impact of trauma. Together we can find solutions to help you resolve the issues that concern you most.
Jeff Packer MSW & Associates is founded upon Christian principles. If you would like both the masculine and feminine perspective, we offer therapy with both my husband Jeff and myself. Our educational qualifications, over thirty years of marriage and raising three children provide us with considerable experience and skills in nurturing a happy, healthy marital relationship.
