I also specialize in ADHD, particularly in women, and narcissistic abuse recovery.
Hey, I know starting therapy can feel super intimidating. The idea of opening up to someone you’ve never met? Yeah, totally nerve-wracking. As a therapist and someone who’s been on the therapy couch myself, I get how overwhelming that first step can be. That’s why I show up as a real person first, no judgment, no clinical coldness, just a space where you can be authentically you.

As the innovative Brené Brown once said "when we deny our story, it defines us, but when we own our story, we can write a brave new ending". We all have a story that's filled with difficult times, hardship and unique experiences that have shaped who you are now. What happens next is up to you, as you have more control than you might think. if you're ready to take the next step in changing your life for the better then I invite you to allow me to be a part of that, where I can offer a safe space free of judgement and criticism. Instead I can help guide you toward your goals offering clarity, perspective and empathic understanding.

Stressed out?  Frazzled? Frustrated? Not sure what to change or which way to turn? Not sure who to trust? We've all been there. Now and then we all feel the need to slow it all down and see things more clearly, in confidence, with gentleness and wisdom. You want someone to come alongside you, who puts you first, who understands that trauma doesn't have to be some spectacular event to have a real and lasting impact.

Do you feel caught in emotional cycles that keep repeating, within yourself or in your relationships? You may notice intense reactions, difficulty regulating during conflict, shutting down, or recurring patterns of rupture and disconnection. Many individuals and couples I work with feel overwhelmed by the speed and intensity of their emotional responses and struggle to break patterns that leave them feeling drained, misunderstood, or alone. Often, these cycles are not about being “too emotional,” but about nervous system overwhelm, unmet attachment needs, and protective strategies that no longer serve you.

I primarily work with men who struggle to express their vulnerabilities and emotions—especially to their partners. Many of my clients come to therapy weighed down by fear, anxiety, past trauma, addiction, ADHD challenges, or deep loneliness, unsure of how to talk about what they’re going through without feeling judged or misunderstood. In our sessions, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your emotions openly. When you feel secure, it becomes easier to face painful experiences, understand your patterns, and take ownership of your feelings.

Offering low-cost therapy: I believe many of our patterns and ways of relating are shaped early in life. While these patterns can help us cope, they can also leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Therapy offers a space to better understand these experiences and create meaningful change. I work with adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is integrative, grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, while also incorporating CBT- and DBT-informed strategies to support emotional regulation and practical change.

You’re tired of “performing” for a world that wasn’t built for your brain. Whether you’re navigating a late‑in‑life ADHD or Autism discovery, or you’re a parent overwhelmed by complex family cycles, you’re likely here because you feel misunderstood. You want to stop masking and start connecting — but bridging the gap between your nervous system and your daily life hasn’t been easy. You’re looking for a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, a space where you can finally feel accepted by yourself and “gotten” by the people closest to you.

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Counsellors
What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.

How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.

Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.

How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
