We all hit moments where life feels heavier than it should - whether in love, family, with our children or at work.
I work with individuals and couples, and my wife and I lead a group coaching program where you’ll see firsthand that you’re not alone - many of us are navigating the same challenges. Together, we’ll slow things down so you can co-create the kind of relationships that feel balanced, supportive, and real.

If you prefer, I can also offer coaching receipts as an educational expense.
I work with a variety of clients, though creative & highly sensitive people often find me. I work in an intuitve and neuroscience-based way; brain education is part of my work. Empaths who've experienced trauma or adverse conditions often feel responsible for not 'figuring out their problems' especially when they couldn't possibly have figured them out (as children, adolescents, or inside abusive relationships or religions). If you struggle with these or other internal entanglements and challenges, I'd be honoured to show you clinically sound ways to help you ways to change, untangle brain-body-spirit, and find your path forward.

I provide coaching for work-related issues including career development & transition and leadership coaching.
There are many reasons why you might want to talk to a therapist. You may be feeling 'stuck' about a problem or feeling unhappy about a situation and aren't sure what to do about it. Whether you've been struggling with an issue for a long time or facing a new challenge, talking to a therapist can help you gain insight and develop better coping strategies. Working from a respectful, client-centred approach, I guide you through a process of investigation to understand the source of the issue, identify what's working and not working and find solutions to move forward.

With over a decade of experience in counseling and psychotherapy, I am a certified Life Coach, Relationship Coach, and NLP Practitioner.
You may feel stuck in patterns that don’t seem to change—whether that’s anxiety, ongoing relationship difficulties, or a persistent sense of emotional disconnection. For couples, this can appear as repeated unresolved conflicts, communication breakdowns, or growing emotional distance. For individuals, it may feel like carrying something internally that is difficult to fully understand or shift alone. Often, what brings people into therapy is not only the presence of distress, but the frustration of feeling unable to move forward despite genuine effort.

I work with children, youth, and adults navigating ADHD, Autism, and anxiety, often feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure how to manage their inner world. Many come to therapy wanting clarity, emotional regulation, and support that honours their neurodiversity. I also support teens who experience anxiety in group or social settings, including those involved in sport or recreational activities, helping them feel more confident, grounded, and connected. My ideal clients are curious, reflective, and ready to understand themselves in a deeper, more compassionate way.

I believe that at the core of many mental health challenges lies the importance of strengthening self-esteem and self-care, which can enhance our ability to cope with life's experiences.
Now accepting new clients! Living in the current world can be overwhelming to tackle, with constant demands, ever-evolving challenges, and the pressure to keep up, often leaving us feeling disconnected, anxious, or stuck in a cycle of stress. Struggling with mental health or being stuck makes one yearn for a safe space to pause, reflect, and heal—somewhere free from judgment, where you can explore your emotions, gain clarity, and rebuild your sense of self.

My approach is compassionate, honest, & grounded in helping clients develop insight, emotional awareness, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
The name Happy Hearts holds special meaning to me. Growing up, my grandmother and I would often ask each other, “Dil khush?” - a Punjabi phrase meaning, “Is your heart happy?” That simple question reflected care, connection, and the importance of emotional well-being, which became the foundation of Happy Hearts Counselling Services.

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
