You’re used to handling pressure, staying composed, and getting the job done — but lately the stress isn’t shutting off. If you’re a first responder, healthcare professional, or high-responsibility individual, you may be dealing with anxiety, burnout, or the cumulative impact of trauma exposure. This can look like replaying work after shift, difficulty sleeping, irritability at home, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Sessions with me are collaborative and focused on real-world strategies that you can apply to all areas of your life.

Many men carry stress, pressure, and emotional weight without talking about it. You may struggle with overthinking, burnout, relationship difficulties, low motivation, or feeling like you’ve lost direction. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s keeping you stuck, identify unhelpful patterns, and build practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.

Grounded in a compassionate, trauma-informed psychodynamic approach, I integrate attachment-focused therapy, somatic work, DBT, IFS, and mindfulness.
Virtual appointments only. Many people come to therapy carrying emotional patterns, relationship experiences, or inner conflicts they understand intellectually but still feel stuck in emotionally. Therapy can offer a space to explore how past experiences shape present-day emotions, attachment patterns, relationships, and ways of coping. I particularly support clients navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, self-criticism, and longstanding emotional patterns. I am accepting new online clients—book a free 15-minute consultation or an initial session on my website.

In my practice I offer a variety of relational, somatic, psychotherapeutic and cognitive approaches individualized to you and your goals.
The 13th century Persian poet Saadi says: "Human Beings are members of a whole, in creation of one essence and soul, if one member is inflicted with pain, other members uneasy will remain". To me this reflects our interconnectivity as human beings. With this I place emphasis on healing from past experiences as essential to connecting with our authentic self.

We are a trauma-informed, integrative clinic offering evidence-based therapy alongside holistic and somatic approaches, because healing happens in relationships, in the nervous system, and in the body — not insight alone.
If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’ve been holding a lot on your own.
Maybe you’re high-functioning on the outside but exhausted on the inside.
Maybe therapy hasn’t worked the way you hoped it would.
Maybe your child, teen, or loved one is struggling and you don’t know what else to try.
Or maybe you’re tired of being told to “cope better” when what you’re really longing for is safety, understanding, and real change.
At Healing Recovery Centre, we believe you deserve a soft place to land — and more than one way to heal.

Have you ever wondered why life seems harder for you than it does for everyone else? You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that don't make sense. Perhaps you've spent years masking, people-pleasing, pushing through burnout, or wondering why things that seem easy for others take so much effort for you. For many women, these struggles can be connected to past experiences or trauma, the pressures of parenting, unrecognized neurodivergence, and the weight of societal, familial, and personal expectations.

How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
