I am a social worker with over 10 years of experience providing psychotherapy to diverse clients presenting with a wide range of concerns including coping with trauma, mood instability, questions around gender or queer identity, and difficulty functioning and coping. As a client-centered, holistic, and emotion-focused practitioner I strive to create a safe therapeutic space in which clients can process their emotions in a deep and meaningful way that then enables them to break free from maladaptive patterns and empowers them to connect to their true selves and tap into their natural resilience.

I am a registered social worker with over 15 years of work experience. I have helped people who experience issues such as: depression, anxiety, addiction, abuse, trauma, anger, LGBTQ -related issues, relationship issues, grief, and family conflict. My journey into social work began at age 14, when I lost my father to cancer. Because there were few supports available at the time, I felt alone and stuck. This prompted me to dedicate my life to assisting others during difficult times, and help them realize they are not alone.

I provide assessment and treatment for individuals and couples who are experiencing relationship problems, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and problems associated with coming out as lesbian , gay , bisexual or trans -identified. My early training in experiential, person-centred therapy is the foundation of my understanding of human and relational functioning and healing.

Compassionate and effective trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and loss therapy. I work with adults who have survived a trauma or loss and want to move forward. My clients have thoughts like, "I'm not good enough" or "I could have done something different." These are very common thoughts following trauma and loss. These thoughts keep you stuck though. You deserve to be able to move forward. I am here to show you how and to help you do just that. I am proud to provide therapy for health care professionals, firefighters, police officers, and other first responders, including therapists, nurses, and teachers. Also, LGBTQ + safe space and welcomed.
